When my Journey started with Diabetes and Carb Counting

I became a diabetic in September of 2018, navigating it has been a roller coaster especially with all the changes when becoming pregnant shortly after my diagnosis. Change is hard especially with food because how it affects our bodies. When my health journey started, it changed my life completely from how I felt on a day to day basis, it took dedication and motivation. You realize that having a good relationship with food is key, don’t be afraid to still enjoy foods and snacks you enjoy, just make sure to make healthy alternatives.
